Link Firewall
By enabling the Link Firewall on your project, you can block automated scripts from consuming your quota or analyzing your traffic.
Block Known Bots
Automatically blocks crawlers identified as malicious or aggressive (e.g., Ahrefs, Semrush, MJ12bot).
Block AI Scrapers
Prevent AI models (like GPTBot, CCBot) from using your content for training.
Firewall Strategies
| Strategy | Description |
|---|---|
| BLOCK | Immediately drop the connection. The user sees a 403 Forbidden error. |
| CHALLENGE | Present a Turnstile/Captcha challenge. Real humans can pass; bots usually fail. |
| ALLOW | Log the request but let it pass. Useful for testing rules without blocking traffic. |
Rate Limiting
Protect your destination server from spikes. You can limit requests to X requests per minute per IP address.
